1. Opening Light DRUM SETUP USED : 'Main Kit' (Refer to 'Equipment' section) BIOGRAPHY : ‘The K’ is a project that took life in the early part of 2001, from the mind of Cristian ‘Cris’ Scarponi, founding member and leader of the well known Italian extreme metal act ‘Calvary’. He decided to bring to light a series of greatly enjoyable and listenable songs of metal basline, with a melanchonic feel and various influences, being both modern and vintage. Only after a long selection, which lasted almost 2 years, Cris finally managed to find in Ilaria Taroni, the right voice for the music of ‘The K’. During the recordings of the first promotional compilation, which contains 4 tracks plus a self produced video clip of the band, the well acclaimed drummer Diego ‘GroM’ Meraviglia was hired to handle the first two songs including the single ‘The Winner-Loser’ and consequent video-clip. Gianluca ‘GL’ Fontana of ‘Legion’ was confirmed as the male vocalist for the single and will complete the line-up that will be set for Live appearances.
